Jonathan H. Kagan
Mr. Kagan is a Managing Principal of Corporate Partners. Previously, Mr. Kagan was a Managing Director of Corporate Partners I, which he joined in 1990, and of Centre Partners Management LLC, which managed the Centre Capital funds. He began his career in the investment banking division of Lazard in 1980 and became a General Partner in 1987. At Lazard, Mr. Kagan helped head the corporate finance and capital markets areas. He is or has been a member of the board of directors of a number of NYSE- and NASDAQ-listed companies and private companies. Mr. Kagan received an M.A. (1st Hon.) from Oxford University and an A.B., summa cum laude and Phi Beta Kappa, from Harvard College.
Ali E. Wambold
Mr. Wambold is a Managing Principal of Corporate Partners and, until February 17, 2009, the Chief Executive Officer of Lazard Alternative Investments LLC. He joined Lazard in 1985 and became a General Partner in 1987. From 1999 to February 2009, Mr. Wambold was responsible for Lazard’s North American alternative investment activities. Prior to that, he was a senior investment banker in Lazard’s New York and London offices. He was a founder, co-head and board member of Corporate Partners I. Before joining Lazard, Mr. Wambold was a Vice President of Lehman Brothers. He is or has been a member of the board of directors of a number of publicly and privately held companies in the United States and abroad. Mr. Wambold received an M.B.A. in Finance, Marketing and International Business from Columbia University Graduate School of Business, where he graduated with Beta Gamma Sigma honors, and an A.B. in Economics, magna cum laude, from Harvard College. He is a CFA charterholder.
Michael A. Wildish
Mr. Wildish is a Senior Advisor of Corporate Partners. Previously, he had over 25 years of business experience, in corporate strategic advice, financial restructuring, investment banking and public accounting, during which he advised a wide range of companies in mergers & acquisitions, corporate restructurings and financings, both domestically and abroad. Mr. Wildish became a General Partner of Lazard Frères & Co. in 1996, having begun his investment banking career at Goldman Sachs & Co. He subsequently led the Technology and Media Mergers & Acquisitions teams at Crédit Suisse First Boston/Donaldson, Lufkin & Jenrette and was Head of M&A at Miller Buckfire & Co. LLC. He is or has been a director of a number of public and privately-held companies. Mr. Wildish received an M.B.A. from Harvard Business School and a B.S. in Commerce with Distinction from the University of Virginia, where he earned Beta Gamma Sigma honors. He is a Certified Public Accountant, having qualified in 1984 while a Senior Auditor at Price Waterhouse & Co.
Michael A. Moylan
Mr. Moylan is a Vice President of Corporate Partners. Prior to joining Corporate Partners as a Senior Associate in 2013, Mr. Moylan was an Associate at Ampersand Capital Partners. He began his career in the investment banking division of Stifel Nicolaus. Mr. Moylan received an M.B.A. in Finance from Columbia Business School and a B.A. from Johns Hopkins University.
Derek C. Gollnitz
Mr. Gollnitz is an Associate of Corporate Partners. Prior to joining the firm in January 2016, he was an investment banking Associate at Aramar Capital Group, LLC. Previously, Mr. Gollnitz was a private equity secondaries Analyst at Hamilton Lane Advisors, L.L.C. and an equity research Associate at Boenning & Scattergood, Inc. He received a B.A. with distinction in Philosophy, Politics and Economics from the College of Arts & Sciences, as well as a B.S. in Economics with a concentration in Statistics from the Wharton School, magna cum laude and Phi Beta Kappa, from the University of Pennsylvania. Mr. Gollnitz is a CFA charterholder.
David J. Boemo
Mr. Boemo is the Chief Financial Officer of Corporate Partners. Prior to joining Corporate Partners in 2011, Mr. Boemo was the Chief Financial Officer and Chief Compliance Officer of Tri-Artisan Partners, a privately held merchant bank engaged in principal investment and corporate finance advisory activity. From 1997 to 2008, Mr. Boemo served in various roles at ABN AMRO and acquired operations of ING Barings. During his tenure, Mr. Boemo held several senior management roles, including Chief Financial Officer – North America, and was a member of the bank’s Regional Management Committee. Mr. Boemo managed a large and diverse group of finance professionals in addition to providing transitional leadership and financial expertise related to ABN AMRO’s acquisitions and divestitures. Prior thereto, he was a Vice President and Controller of the Corporate Trust Division of Bankers Trust Company and a Manager in the Financial Services Audit Practice of Ernst & Young. Mr. Boemo is a Certified Public Accountant, has received a BS in Business Administration from Montclair State University, and an MBA from Columbia Business School.
